Line 6 DL4 or Boss RC-2

    Hey I used to own a DL4 and like an idiot I sold it a few years ago as I was broke and in college. Anyway started playing again recently and I miss the hell out of the loop feature on the DL-4. I want to get another one but I've heard of the RC-2 pedals which offer a really big loop sampler. I've seen a few youtube tutorials and while I thinkthe drum sounds on it are horrible it looks like a great loop pedal which is what I really need it for. Its is a good bit cheaper than the dl4 so I am wondering if I should just buy one of these rather than fork out the extra for the line 6. I already have a decent enough delay sound on a very old boss ME-10 effects board and it has tap tempo too so what you think of these RC-3's?

    Sounds like you answered your own question... If you only want the looper, buy the RC-2. No point in paying extra for delays you don't want.

    I would also consider the RC20XL, I find it much easier to use. Having two footswitches do the work is much easier then having one do it all.

    Yeah think I will pick one of these up for the xmas. They don't seem to be much cheaper buying one off ebay from the states. Maybe I will find one second hand somewhere. Any tips on places to look online for the best deal? Already looked at thoman.

    Line 6 is very well priced in most Irish retailers & Boss Pedals are really well priced aswell. Check out any of the shops websites. RC2 around €170 ish, €240 for the RC20XL. Line 6 looper is probs about €250 - €350. Not 100% sure on the prices but they are rough guestimations.
