Well, no Irish football. Still plenty of football out there to watch.

The OP obviously has an penchant for Irish football only.
Watching football for the sake of it and without any interest in who is playing is a pretty boring experience akin to watching paint dry. Now and again the neutral does get a hum dinger of a game but they are few and far between.

yeah well thats what i mean. i mean i have the champions league knockout rounds to look forward to and perhaps a few derbys around europe but football that im actually emotionally involved in will be absent for a few months.

I know what you mean. I'm not going to see Bray play for ages now cause I'll be away from home until the summer but I'll still watch football. It doesn't bother me in the slightest about standards or who's playing. Football is still football and it's the sport I love.

Also, being an LOI fan means you get year-long football exposure.

ye i guess i do look out for the irish players in england. it was better last season when given, ireland and dunne were all on man city team. gave me a reason to support them in england and in Uefa Cup
