To UFH or not UFH, that is the question

I`m going about building a single story house of about 2500 sqft. It will use gas heating. Im still half and half about weather or not I will go with UFH. Does gas and ufh make any sense anyway ? most people seem to use geothermal with it.

2 of the most heated thread discussions (seriously - no pun intended)on the topic. all of the posts seem to suggest that UFH operates most effectively with a heatpump giving a constant more ambient heat.
