    Hi:)

Several months back someone posted a photo of different grind sizes illustrating what size grind is required for different brewing methods. I have searched and searched and can't find it, can anyone remember it?

    Thanks.

The only one I can recall was a picture using a coin alongside to illustrate particle size. Not sure if this was the exact one:

    Thanks Gran Hermano.

That one will do if I can't get my hands on the other one. The other one I think might have been posted by RE*AC*TOR, either here or in his blog, have searched both but can't find it.

RE*AC*TOR, if you can remember the one I am talking about it would be great.

Its for a complete newbie and I thought that one was the best I had seen, differences could be seen very clearly.

    Thanks.

I don't remember one in particular. Not really all that useful in any case. Espresso grind generally should feel like gritty talk when rubbed between your fingers. Some say filter should be more like table salt, press grind like granulated sugar.

Though these days I'm finding my press and filter grinds to be approaching unity.

    *edit* gritty talc... d'oh!
