Ordering from ebuyer.com

    I ordered a laptop from ebuyer last week, and I paid through Google checkout instead of through ebuyer. I got the order receipt by e-mail, but when I go to ebuyer.com and log on, my order doesn't show up under the "My Orders" section. Is this just because I ordered through Google Checkout and not via the website, or should the order show up there anyway?

    OP - the first thing I would do is contact ebuyer, preferably by phone and find out where your order is.

    I have a feeling the same problem that happened to me is now happening to you. About a month ago I used Google Checkout to purchase an item and got a receipt from Google but nothing showed up in the 'my orders' section, so I contacted ebuyer through their enotes facility and they cancelled my order because I wasn't issued an 'EBuyer order number' so the order could not go ahead. So I think Google checkout fecked up on this somehow.

    I re-placed my order, this time via Paypal and sucessfully received the item in the post yesterday.

    Also you need enter REP123 as the postcode when registering from Ireland?

    Yeah I called them today, and it turned out that it was pretty much the same problem you mentioned. I ordered it again, and got an e-mail a bit later to tell me my order had been dispatched, so hopefully it'll arrive this time...

    Bought a mouse, keyboard, mouse mat + headset from them on Thursday.

    Cancelled today, because of the mouse apparently, however it is still in stock.

    They still have not refunded my credit card (a 3V - that they should not have charged in the first place) and now it says up to 3 working days to process it.. So that's wednesday?

    Just want my money back so I can get the exact same stuff from hardwareversand :/

    Did you use Google Checkout again, because I've had no look using it?

    Did they cancel your order because the mouse was out of stock? I've stopped using 3v because of all the charges involved, it's nearly cheaper to have a real credit card, if you can afford one.
