What's happened that people arn't using matches anymore? I know in essance the lighter is probably easier, but nothing beats striking a match and lighting up.

So which do people prefer? Matches or Lighters?


+1 for non-safety matches too if you can find them. Light up off anywhere, class stuff.

I get a silly trill off lighting up matches and holding them for as long as i can before i get burned!!
Lighters don't have the same effect!!!

I never tried them on stubble because I'm 34 and still can't grow a beard.

I use a lighter 99 percent of the time. Always have a lighter in my pocket, even when I was off the smokes earlier in the year.

When myself and my friend were younger we use to strike the match and blow it out really really quickly cos if you were quick enough you could strike the match again! It became a competition.
Another one was if you got two matches, struck on and quickly touched the lighting match head to the other non lighting match head it would fuse and when you blew the matches out they would stay stuck together!!

Yea, you should never place with fire!:D
Also loved the smell of it when you blew the match out.

Also I like matches. They dont get the respect they deserve. I know they are probably destroying a chunk of the rainforrest the size of Wales everyday just to get the wood for them but that doesnt matter. Hopefully when they run out of rainforrest they will just destroy Wales (smug bastards).
