    Hi! first timer posting here!

    I like a flutter and last night I had a Patent on. Greece to win, Portugal to win and Ireland to draw. Which was the result as far as I was concerned. But my Paddy Power account says different. For the draw they have Lose beside it. Just been onto support and they say the bet was on the 90 minute result (which was Ireland up 1-0) but I've been doing these bets for years and I don't recall that ever being the case. It was always match result, NOT the 90 minutes result. Though I know other bets like correct score are 90 mins. Wasn't it always the case that a bet on the match result was just that - the official result, not the score at 90 mins! :confused:

    I might be blind or something but if I go to bet on a match now on their site now there is nowhere where it says 90 min result only.

    The live support person told me the onus is on me to know the rules. but as far as I knew I was betting on the match result, NOT the 90 mins. :rolleyes:

    Betting is always 90 mins unless specified otherwise on the betting slip

    Yep.... Soccer is always 90 minute result.

    Sometimes you will see;
    - "result after extra time" (rare)
    - "to qualify" (common in cup games)
    - "result on aggregate" (very rare)

    Didn't it used to be that it was on the match result unless it stated 90 minutes only??? That's what I remember anyway.

    Still going through the rules on PP but cant find the 90 min thing on a match bet!

    Thanks for the replies though!

    Oh duh duh duh! :o There was extra time played!

    I thought the equaliser was scored during the stopage time or something! Jesus, I'm up too early counting my meagre winnings!!!

    lol, thanks again for the replies!
