the paint in my bathroom is flaking ?

    i want to paint the bathroom and make a nice job of it

    do i remove the old paint ?

    if so how do i do it ?

    No you dont have to remove it completely. What you will have to do is remove all the loose and flaking sections with a filling knife and sand back the edges. To do this correctly you will have to wash the walls down with a fungicidal wash , apply a sealer coat [Owatrol or zinsser] and then use a washable emulsion paint over that as it will take to the moisture level in the bathroom better than a standard emulsion
