When you take a closer look on the economical situation in South America you will see the great potential sleeping there that's gonna wake up very loudly soon. Stocks are going up, multi-billion euro investments one after another, etc.

To have a first try one month ago I invested around 8K in stock fund operating in one of the Latin America countries. Month after that the investment was worth 8,5K which is around +7% in just a month. The same fund made +55.9% in the last 12 months. So it's not that bad according to the fact that they face this crisis not much less than Ireland.

I believe Brazil, (especially) Panama, Chile and Argentina are gonna face great economical growth after this crisis.

Wise investors know that the best time for investment is the crisis (unfortunately the ending crisis for today, but still..).

What do you think? Worth a try?

The Rabo Latin American Fund (BGF?) has done quite well over the last few months (recovering my losses....)

All Latin American funds are doing well. They are gonna face multi billon investements. The best example of what we can see there in the future is Punta Pacifica in Panama, a new world class ivestement and financial center.

Many of those companies have the lowest taxes in the world and bank secrecy which only can bring new rich people to that region. In Panama for example every foreign company is free from income tax and bookkeeping.
