Don't know what I've done to my mother's laptop :o It usually connects to the internet with the small icon on the bottom right of the screen. I right clicked and meant to click Disconnect but actually click Disable and now the icon is gone and when I press the wireless button the light doesnt come on and it doesnt pick up the wireless signal. Help! How do I re-enable it?!

Right click on the icon again (wireless assistant) and see if you can re-enable it.

Go into Start/Control Panel/ and look for "Wireless Assistant" and click on that.

Same here XP, that icon at the bottom of the screen that you clicked on, are you sure it's not just hidden now, can you see a white symbol shaped like this < if so click that and other icons will display and hopefully it will be there.
