how do you charge an iphone?

    Hi I bought an iphone 3G 8GB yesterday. It came in a black box when I bought it in O2.
    Do I need to buy a charger to charge or does the charger come with it like a normal nokia phone?
    Is there anything I need to buy before I can start using my iphone?

    Charger comes with Iphone.
    1) You can charge it with usb cable, just plug the usb port into computer and other part in bottom of iphone and charge.

    2) There is a wall charger, plug the usb part into the space and then other part into iphone.

    will everything be there for me to charge it? the box looks pretty small like

    would you not open the box and find out. how can you have bought it yesterday and still not opened it to find out ?

    can anyone whos bought an iphone in the little black box let me know if the wall charger comes with the iphone? is there anything else i need to buy or does it all come in the box?

    It's all in the box. They're packaged fairly neatly so the box is quite small.

    ok fair enough, here's a picture of the accessorys in the box except for the white block just above the headphones, thats the charger for america... everything else is in the box http://www.phones-online.org/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/iphone-charger-001.jpg

    You could consider opening it and charging it fully for her so it's good to go on the day. Once it's charged you can package it up for her the same bar the plastic film around the box.

    I always charge up pressies!

    Failing this, Did you not ask the people in the shop??

    Does it not list contents on side/back of box??
