So who's up for some practice before the tourney?
I'll be there, as I'm taking sumo on a world tour.

    All are very welcome.

What about the old axiom? Will you be there? 11 votes

Hell to the yeah - I'll be there.

No I won't go, as I hate Terry and his top tier antics.

Don't forget the bear hugs and crushing them into crotch!

I'll be Yoga Teleporting myself into the XGC this Saturday too :D

Can we just do normal casuals btw? The friendly tourney last week was cool (especially coz I won that biatch!:p) but I'd prefer it if we just did casual games. Gives people a better chance to play everyone.

I agree it's a lot more fluid and laid back.

Yeah I'd prefer normal casuals as well, get to fight more people that way!

Aren't there meant to be T6 and COD MW2 tourneys? I just thought it would be good to note instead of going down and not being able to get any machines.

More than likely wont be there for the full duration as a mate of mine is down from Derry. But he is a casual SF2 fan so might drag him in for one or two games.

Well fellas, I won't be able to make this one as I have to go to a funeral in kerry over the weekend. And no, this is not another excuse of "portuguese-trip" proportions! So you'll all be glad to know that you'll be sagat-free this weekend :P

On a philosophical note, I naturally answered no to the poll so does that mean that I hate myself

Quick question. Does anyone in the Xbox camp have a TE?

Funny you should ask that, my xbox TE just arrived an hour ago, and I managed to get off work on Saturday so I plan to come along :)

First impressions of the TE: it's fvcking huge :pac:

Well I might be able to make it along then :D It's not that I don't mind using other peoples sticks, but I find I play better on the TE, and the majority of the Xbox camp use controllers or have custom sticks or the SE. :(

Plus it looks like the PS3 crowd won't be well represented this Saturday.

So you have a 360 ps3 and pc? Or did you get the 360 TE for the pc?

**edit** oh yeah now that I think about it I think i remember you saying the ps3 sticks don't work on your pc.

Sweet that your finally coming, i hope I can make it too, even though I'll be a useless stick noob.

Sure the stick is so big we can probably both use it at the same time :D

Yea, I was thinking maybe the PS3 TE was made differently and would work, but didn't want to risk it.
I might be getting a 360 for forza, and since I already have the TE then I may also have to grab my third copy of sf4 while I'm at it :D

Sure come along so I can have my chance of beating you before you adapt to the stick :P

Lies, your stick skills are too embarrassing.

LOL damn I really wish that was the case right now. Its starting to look like I may have to repeat some modules next year already. :(

Not that my stick skills have moved beyond embarrassing yet :p I don't really have much time to even train on the ****in thing. I really wish I picked it up during the summer, bah! Instead its sitting there, taunting me..

I dodged some shopping to drop in and say hi for a few minutes.

A new face there too, so the scene is slowly growing. The Tekken crowd were in too.

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 25,872 Mod ✭✭✭✭Doctor DooM

Yeah, any of the tekken people want to say hi? I didn't want to ramble in the middle of your fight

Where? In the XGC... it was surprisingly vacant of MW2 players, there was probably about 16 or so regular SFIV heads. There was some 7 year old playing GTA IV beside us (I love the times we live in ) and a handful of Fifa heads, trying to see if the game had been updated to unlock Thierrys special move I guess :pac:

Good games to Red350, nice to see a new face to!

And comment of the evening, once again, to Ry, for the gem after getting missing a punish,

"I know what shoulda done there, pressed some buttons"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 269 ✭✭Red350

GG's A-Trak, and to everyone else I played. Was really good fun, looking forward to the next one.

Enjoyed the beating from yourself and Ken.

    GG's :)
