Got a Itouch in the states and its my first apple product:confused:

After a head wrecking time trying to load itunes on vista and eventually finding a stripped down version of it that loaded. However unlike the Archos, Creative Nokia I cannot drag and drop files from my PC onto it. I tried itunes but it aint the best. Is there a free program that synchs the itouch with pc and acts like a hard drive so then I can drag and drop the files

    Ta

I don't know if this works in Windows, but it works on a Mac.

Attach the Touch. With iTunes open, drag any files from the desktop, or wherever, to the iPod icon in the iTunes window.

The files will be copied onto the Touch without first having to load them into iTunes.

Will try this as working from Windows pc. May just get Windows 7 as I am having problems loading itunes onto pc with Vista. So had to download iTunes switchless installer from Here. Not sure if there are any differences?
Converted a movie file to mov format and then tried to load it but struggling to work with it

If you're going to be converting video for the touch, I'd strongly recommend Videora .

Very very handy and free to boot.

Thanks currently using Format Factory working grand.

Does winamp synch with the Itouch and can I load movies / songs using this? Also what is the best place to get album art for the music. A lot of files I have on my hard drive I have deleted

You can on an ipod usign a third party (free) piece of software (lots around) so I would be suprised if there are none for the itouch.
