Student accommodation in London

I'm applying for a Masters course in London Metropolitan next year and am looking for accommodation as close to the Highbury area as possible. How much can i expect to pay for accommodation? Through the college website I've found accommodation nearby for £148 per week which seems very expensive and frankly out of my budget…

For London the best website for finding a house share is www.gumtree.co.uk.

If you want to live in a student residence hall then here is a list for those in North London.

But I found that residence halls are reserved for Non-EU masters students and students from Ireland are as such not guaranteed places.
