Hi, looking for cheapest laptop for xmas pressie for my mum who will only use it to check out maybe flights and reviews. Looking at a mini notebook NB750 920 anyka 32 bit processor 128Mb Ram 4 Gb Storage wireless LAN microsoft windows CE. Would this be sufficient for very limited internet usage and could I set up internet on this (more importantly) I hav'nt a clue what I should be looking for, but this one is only costing 199euro. Seen an ACER notebook in xtravisio* as well for 280euro. Would this price range suit for what I want??

Don't buy the first one you mentioned. It's a heap of crap. It's hard to know what the exact model is in xtravision, so it's hard to recommend it. Something like the samsung nc10 would be ideal. Although it might be a bit expensive, it should come in at under 300 though.

Saw this refurbished one for €255 on the Dell Factory Outlet website a while ago.

    • Inspiron 1545 Intel Celeron 900 (2.20GHz,800MHz,1MB)
    • Windows Vista® Home Premium
Sounds like it would suit what you're looking for.
