Dual Boot Windows 7 and openSuse 11.1

    Hi all,

As the title indicates, I want to do the above. I've upgraded the laptop (HP Pavilion) from Vista to Win 7. Upon doing this, I lost the Grub bootloader that I used to boot openSuse 11.1 (from a second hard disk). When Vista was on the laptop, everything worked fine. Now, it's gone pear-shaped.

I've tried re-installing Linux (I hadn't much data on the linux drive, so I didn't mind re-installing). Everything goes fine until I get to the part where I have to tell the machine where to save Grub. That seems to be the problem. I've seen suggestions that say not to do it where the MBR is saved, 'cos that won't work.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Mike
