New LCD came with an odd Plug

It looks pretty similar to that. My usual 2 pin adaptor didnt work, possibly because it's probably only useful for small gadgets. Is there a kind of adaptor I can get for this or an I just toss this cable and get a proper 3 pin one? the other end is a standard 3 hole kettle plug type thing. Or am I just screwed? :pac: Any…

Cut the plug off from the lead an put on a 3 prong plug yourself.
