Stepdown 2: The Streets

    I've got a JP-DC that's hooked up to a stepdown convertor and seems to work fine. If I buy a US-DC, can I use the same convertor? I know the voltage is consistent between Japan and US, but I'm wondering about the plug that goes into the convertor - anyone know if they're the same - can a US plug fit in a step down convertor that works for a Japanese plug?

    ETA: the convertor looks a lot like this one:

    Yep, you can. I run an imported American Sega Genesis model 3 and a Japanese Neo Geo from the same step down. They both use those two flat prong plugs.
