Hi - I am just looking over the CAO Application for 2010. I am currently doing a distance learning course for Introduction to Nursing with a FETAC Level 5 Component Certificate.

Does this mean i can apply through the CAO with this as well??
    Im confused

You can tick the box saying that you are doing fetac level 5 and when fetac has your results they will pass them onto cao automatically. However, you are not eligible for a fetac place with only a Component Cert/Module. You need to have a Full Cert made up of 8 Modules for a fetac place.
Even though it is only 1 Component, it is still very much worth mentioning on your application. Everything you have done relating to your desired course is totally relevant and will support/boost your application.
    Good Luck!!

Thanks - yes, I will definitely make sure to include it on my application. I just wanted to check & make sure that I didn't miss out by not applying via FETAC.
    Thanks :)
