The public should have no hand, act or part in the selection, given how successful their judgement has proven to be in recent years.

I suggest black, satanic metal. This should also be played backways at a slow speed. If it pisses Dana or Johnny Logan off, then we have already won! :D

I think Jedward, Dustin and the Breffmeister should form a eurovision supergroup...

I would say a traditional style song would be best. I would go with a sean nos song.

Dial it right back, one woman, singing a sean nos song, no music.

It'd be a new for eurovision, and would completely set itself apart from the rest of the entrants.

We often fall into the same hole the brits do, and go with horrible attempts at pop songs. When it's left to the public to vote, well, generally the public can only choose the best of a bad lot.

We need to send Johnny Logan. The guy is huge in Norway!

Why send anybody at all? Does anybody even care anymore? The whole thing is just a waste of time and money.

We could send Brian Cowen. I hear he is good at the ole belly dancing.

Go on Brian. Belly dance for Ireland!

Yes, instead we should let a cabal of RTÉ suits decide, after all, they never make bad decisions.

    U2

To be fair, Dustin has released better albums this millenium.

U2 have done fuk all since the brilliant Achtung Baby.
