    hi guys,

i'm currently in receipt of JSA, have been collecting since October now. I'm already getting a bit sick of it, but the job opportunities out there...well we all know the score! so i was looking at fas.ie and reading up a bit on the WPP for which there are a few positions in my area that i might be interested in. however as i understand they are only 6 month contracts, and i was wondering what happens after this point? do you simply revert to being on JSA with no real job prospects and just a bit of work experience under your belt??

on a side note, does the employer pay a wage on top of your JSA?

    thanks,

    adam

I think in terms of job prospects I think the only real one is that the employer may keep you on after the 6 months are up, the benefit is primarily the work experience. The employer might also pay you some small salary on top of your JSA but I reckon that's very unlikely.
