    Hey Guys,

Im travelling to dublin from galway with citylink this friday. Im getting off at Burgh Quay...can anyone tell me where this actually is?My boyfriend is coming in to Busaras so i plan to meet him there? Neither of us are really that familiar with Dublin so any guidance here would be hugely appreciated?

Were also heading to Glasnevin after this...but im guessing that can be got to via dublin bus on o connell st??

    Cheers
    Linola!

    Hi,

The Citylink to Galway goes from Burgh Quay... but I'm nearly sure the bus from Galway to Dublin set down on Eden Quay, the opposite side of the river to Burgh Quay.

Either way, Busaras is less than 5 minutes away... bascially if your on the Quays looking away from O'Connell Bridge walk past Liberty Hall (the tall building) and follow the road around to the LUAS track which then lead to Busaras.

Glasnevin is a large area... You'll get a bus to Glasnevin from O'Connell St., heading north away from the liffey, just past the Spire on the left outside Dublin Bus head office.

The main routes are 11, 11a, 11b, 13, 13a, 19, 19a however all take different routes... Is there a particular area in Glasnevin you need to get to? If there is, this can probably be narrowed to a specific route(s).

    Hope this helps,
    H

It's as close to Trinity as Burgh or Eden Quay really... it's on the edge of the River Liffey.

You'll be turning at Liberty Hall, following the tracks around by the back of the Custom House to Busaras.

Yes, I'd think it's fairly safe, I've often walked around here late and its fine for me... its busy with people and buses terminating and stuff.

Suggestion. Meet at Liberty Hall. :) Its the tall building by the river, next to the railway bridge. note there is one entrance to the the office building and a separate one around the corner for the "hall" bit.
