I've heard that there are cases that have been documented where assaults and even rapes have been committed by people with sleep disorders. This takes it to a whole new level

He said he had been dreaming that he was fighting with the "boy racers" who had disturbed the couple earlier that night. He thought he had put one of them in a headlock, but when he woke up he realised it was Christine.

Idiot should've scratched himself with her fingernails and cried that he was abusing her.

Didn't a guy in America get off a rape charge using a sleepwalking excuse.

AFAIR he had an actual documented history of sleep sex.

I went out with a girl who sometimes sleepwalked. She'd get up at night and make cups of coffee, do stuff around the house or whatever and not remember it.

Or get up and bang into something in the dark and hurt herself.

Fairly unpleasant for her. Can only sympathise with the guy, can you imagine waking up to discover you'd murdered your wife?

Not just rape - In 2003, a study published in the Canadian Journal of Psychiatry introduced a phenomenon that the researchers dubbed sexomnia, a condition wherein sleeping people attempted to initiate sex with their partners. In each of the cases studied the sexomniacs had no recollection of the incidents upon waking.

(Yeah, right!)
