Did someone really need a saddle that bad?
Or did someone take it in the hope of selling it on the saddle black market?

Where I lock my bike (A 'secure' underground carpark), there's a frame lock to a post too.

Is it all quick release or do they go through the trouble of taking the wheels off with tools?

... and at least a Kryptoflex to secure the front wheel.

That's some harvest they got there. Thomas Street isn't a great spot to leave a bike, is it?

I know that that's a very clever and effective way to lock a bike, particularly if you've got a small ulock, but I always suspect that given the IQ and spacial ability of the average 14-year-old heroin-addict / bike-thief they'd take a long time to realise that they can neither steal the frame nor the rear wheel, and then spend a long time kicking the **** out of your bike for playing a cruel trick on them with your cunning locking technique. I think a bike shouldn't just be locked securely, it should be locked securely and obviously to avoid these little misunderstandings.

That thought crossed my mind too. Still, I'm used to it now, and I've had no bad luck so far with it.
