Hi wondering if anyone has suggestions, am looking for a 2 - 3 hour walk of moderate difficulty in Wicklow which is near a town with a good pub with nice food. I'm trying to organise a group of people to go for a walk with a mixture of fitness levels so I don't want it to be too tough for them. Any thoughts would be great, thanks!

Up the boardwalk on the Spink in Glendalough and do a circuit of the lake - back to the hotel afterwards. The Wicklow Heather just down the road is very nice also. As is the Roundwood Inn :)

Agree with last poster - there are loads of 2-3 hour walks options at Glendalough. The visitor centre at Glendalough sells a detailed map showing walks in and around the area for 50c - might be available online.

    Other options -
    1. Bray head: climb up to bray head, head south along the top and return via the cliff walk. 2-3 hours (4+ hours if you extend it to Greystones and back)
    2. Circuit of vartry reservoir - (Roundwood). It's flat and not demanding at all so might not appeal to everyone but it is an especially beautiful walk in late autumn and winter if you can get a clear sunny day. About 3 leisurely hours
    3. Wicklow head from the car park near the golf course - another beautiful walk in late autumn but possibly a bit too short.

Ditto glendalough, its a fantastic spot with great views. You could also do the Bray to Greystones cliff walk.
