I looked at a lovely bungalow recently which the EA described as having a cavity underneath the floor. The house was built in the 70's and also has no central heating. What would need to be done to bring the floor insulation up to scratch (ie to avoid cold or Radon coming in from under the floor) and how much would it cost? How much would it cost to install OFCH all around the house? Bungalow approx 1500 sq foot, 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, kitchen. Any rough estimates would be greatly appreciated.
