    Hi,

What are you using to make the DVD? I use DVD flick to encode / burn and that takes about two hours.

It mainly depends on the spec of your pc.

It's pretty much down to the speed/age of your PC.
I had an old Dell Dimension 1100 that used to take 2 hours to convert.
With today's 3GHz dual core PC's it only takes about 15 minutes to convert a 700MB avi file to VOB for DVD burning.
I use ConvertxtoDvd or Nero btw with 2 pass high settings encoding.
