    right guys
the problem is that when an alarm goes off and calls a mobile it does not announce the house name just rings number. can this message be recorded again without being in installer mode? does the voice module need to be replaced and can this be done without installer code? i only have the user code. what settings need to be adjusted to activate this feature

    thanks

You need the eng code to do this, otherwise you will need to default the system and reprogram it.

The messages should be programmed as follows :

    Message 1 = ALARM ACTIVATION
    Message 2 = PANIC
    Message 3 = FIRE
    Message 4 = MEDICAL
    Message 5 = ADDRESS/ACKNOWLEDGES

If option voice kissoff is on, message 5 should request that the listener acknowledges that the message is understood. I would say this is what is happening in your case.

    Hope this helps..

defaulted system. messages are still on voice module. to record over i only had display phone. when voice recording in progress was flashing on keypad i plugged display phone into voice module and pressed 2 to record and 2 to listen back.it didnt work. do i need regular analog phone to re record.

on a side note after defaulting what should pir zones be set at i have then set to entry exit. when do you use access.

when the alarm has been activited and then reset and cleared. i open a door and it goes off again. i reset again and it then seems to be ok.

    thanks

You need them set in alarm. Then omit them from partset as needed.
Access is for if you come in the front door and you have to break the beam to get to the keypad. it wont activate the alarm while the entry/exit timer is running down.

Make sure it is wired properly plus the CS250 uses resistors so make sure the zone is set up correctly. Is there any pirs in the area of the door, if so check if it is set up properly..
