Teal and wigeon

    Hey,a group of us constructed a pond a few year back and over the years all we have attracted to it is mallard.would be nice to have a few teal and wigeon on it is well,just looking for tips on getting them in on it.

    I havn't seen a either in the mid west in donkeys years.
    All Mallard & the occasional migratory Tufted.

    Are they resident to your areas?

    both teal and wigeon are scarce in ireland as residents, the main body of birds overwinter here, so your going to have to wait and see when the time comes.
