Indicators and hazards stopped working on 99 Almera

I noticed that my indicators and hazards have stopped working. There is no ticking sound when they are engaged.

My mechanic is booked up until Friday night. I was hoping this could be a fuse gone but I don't know where the fuse box is.

    Any ideas?

Try looking in the glove compartment / passenger footwell.

if its not under the foot well or glove compartment try near the diagnostics port(nearly the battery on most cars) under the bonnet.

    RTFM ;)
It's probably under the steering wheel or on the side of the dash as you open the door.

Stick a taxi sign on it

Fuse box is under the bonnet has each fuse position marked on top of it

If your fuses are fine and there still not working properly,
check the hazard light/switch itself, pop it out, wiggle the wires
and try it, if still no joy, (transponder unit or flasher unit inside could be fecked) head to your nearest breakersyard and replace
the hazard/switch and try probably cost a €5.

Thanks for the advice folks. The fuse was fine. It was in the fuse compartment inside the car. I think it might need a replacement unit.
