    Hey,
    I'm a 25 yr old girl.
I recently set up an ASOS account to buy a few things.
I just need to find out a few things.

I see that there are both designer and ASOS brand clothes on the site. Which would you recommend I go for? Is the ASOS stuff good quality and nice? Or should I stick to the more expensive ones from other stores?

There are so many different clothes on the site, how do you recommend I search through it? Can any of you girls who have bought anything from ASOS recommend anything to me? I'd like something quite fashionable.
I would like maybe a skirt/dress and also a nice fashionable jumper/top for winter.
Also I see there is a clearance section, is there anything wrong with these items?

I also saw that there is a large makeup section, is the makeup much cheaper than in stores? Why do people shop at ASOS?

Can I get any promotional codes or any way I can get discounts on what i buy? And any way of getting a cheaper delivery charge? How much is the most it could be to me in Dublin?

Thanks for your time in reading this and please post up any nice things to help me with my shopping. I have a budget of €150. May the posts roll in...

postage depends on weight and quantity. noone here can answer that for you.

what to buy depends on YOUR style. everyone can make a guess but at the end of the day you need to look through the site and think about it yourself. you want a skirt and a jumper? then search for those.

to be honest asos is hit and miss. some of their own brand stuff is GREAT, and some ive found to be poor quality or not the same colour as it looks in the photos.

go for what you like the look of :)

theres nothing wrong with the clearance items its the equivalent of sale stock.

Ive bought benefit makeup before from them when i was already ordering cause it was cheaper to get it in sterling and i didnt have to pay any extra on my delivery.

Theres promotional codes every now and then, i usually get them in asos emails or their facebook page.

I have never bought designer stuff from ASOS. I did buy this dress there and for the quality I thought it was overpriced (mine cost me €17 not €22), but it's nicer when you see it "in the flesh" than on the site.

However, I got mine for my holiday so it didn't bother me that it wasn't fab quality.

    Searching is easy.

You simply click on the "women" tab (or whatever tab you want to, depending on what your searching for). After you click the tab a drop-down box shows and on tat drop down box you simply click on whatever it is you want to see:

Eg: http://i46.tinypic.com/rle4xx.jpg - I viewed the dress category and then used the above instructions to view the knitwear section.

There is nothing wrong with items in the "clearance" section. It's basically the equivalent of a sale section in a shop.

Example: When Topshop have a sale on in their actual/[hysical shops, the ASOS clearance section is just like that, but online rather than an actual shop.

Personally, I think the make-up is slightly cheaper, but it depends on the make-up you want to get.

I find the Rimmel products on ASOS are cheaper in my local boots. But maybe it's not the same for everyone.

Most likely the same reason they shop anywhere. They like the stuff/something and decide to get it, because they want/need whatever it is they buy.

For promotional codes, check out these Google search results.

    Hope this helps.

I love love LOVE asos!!! In fact, i'm wearing an asos jumper right now!!

The only bad thing i would say about it is the sizes....im a 12 but usually order a 10. The jumper im in now is a 10 and its slightly too big but nothing too drastic.

The clearance stuff is fine...usually just last seasons stock they can't shift. There own brand stuff is just as good as the designer brands. Also try the outlet section, a few handy bargain in there too!

    Oooo im going there now...

    Happy shopping!!
