Yeah because China=Ebay.
OP you can buy the chargers for around 50quid from Dell delivered. Maybe not the cheapest but you are certain it's genuine.

i picked one up yesterday for my inspiron 1300 for €60 in soundstore, its a multi laptop adapter you can also get them from pc world...etc it isnt a dell charger but it works great!
