    Hi
Last night my laptop screen went like this

I had to power it off to get it to go back to normal,It tends to do this every so often,Is this a sign that the screen is on its way out?

Maybe not the screen. It could be a graphics card issue. If I were you I'd re-install the graphics driver. That may solve the issue.

Possibly just a loose LCD connector. The connection should be just under the panel above the keyboard. Should clip off but i'd get someone who knows what they're doing to check it for ya. But if that's all it is it would take a minute to fix.
