Looked more like he side swiped the black saloon while overshooting the corner and the jcb was unscathed. Thank god.

It's bad, but not as bad as that tool taking a left hand turn and crashing his 308 (?) into a parked car doing not much more than 20MPH. Anyone remember that one?

For those of you concerned with the well being of the JCB.

Looks like someone trying to powerslide around corners without the necessary skills. He'll probably be a bit more careful next time.

Use the Youtube tags - use
[y0utube]youtube movie code[/y0utube] (I used '0' rather than 'o' in the word youtube to stop the tags converting into an actual movie!)
    so your one would be
    [y0utube]-by_VA_zo8Y[/y0utube]
    to give

Why does everyone presume that 'daddy' bought the car?

That's a Swiss car (little flag on the left of the reg plate), no idea why California features in the title. The driver nearly lost it on the first corner, as well. It looks like he hit that estate car (Focus / Mundano?) before the JCB. I'd love to see the accident report.

Moral of the story: Get some advanced lessons before driving a car like that, methinks.

    Because it's a Ferrari California.

And what's with the begrudgery? Maybe he's worked all the hours God sends, saved every penny for his Ferrari fund and just crashed his life's dream.

So he made a twat of himself on a public road, it could happen to us all; he should keep his antics to a closed circuit, sure, but the "daddy comments" just sound like sour grapes.

..and why is it when a Ferrari does that and succeeds it'd be 'cool' but if some lad in a skyline did it he's a 'scumbag' =)

    The real question here is..

Should JCB's be allowed on the roads??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,718 ✭✭✭.Longshanks.

Seems they were malboro promotional cars and the edjets very nearly crashed again before that before they even got out of the carpark.

I can't believe that people here are actually pointing out that the crash was in Europe and not California

They were press/promotional cars, so daddy didn't buy them. Good to see Irish begrudgery is still alive and well though.

Well they first did it back in 1961 with the 250 California and that's one of the rarest, most sought after cars in the world today. Chris Evans paid $11 MILLION for one last year. Now can you believe it?

    <sighs>

FFS, darwin award there. Track day folks, look it up. That way you are less likely to hit oncoming traffic, smack a JCB and look like a tool.

Muppetry. I'm all for a bit of spirited driving, but if you dont have the skills or sense of when its appropiate to do it, stay off the road.

Id say the person in the van (looked like a van anyway) shat themselves
