    hi all,
    any experience posting anything from phillipines? i posted some mail and a parcel from boracay in augest. I didnt get a tracking number.was hungover at the time! but it wasnt from a courier. Does anyone have a experience with national phillipines postal service. parcel as not arrived. im afraid i have to write it off
    any ideas thanks

    Im afraid you probably will have to write it off :( If it hasnt arrived in 3 months then it probably wont at all- thats the time it takes to ship mail from that part of the world.
    Your parcel probably contained enough value in it to keep the average Filipino family in food for a month. So then it becomes very tempting for someone to lift it, especially if there is no tracking number involved.

    During the summer I sent 5 postcards from Peru- the stamps were €1 each. Needless to say €5 is a lot of money to the average Peruvian and consequently the postcards never arrived :mad:

    Thanks..ya looks like i will have to write it off. couple of nice gifts in it and that. lesson learned i suppose! pity.

    ya new to boards.. man you could spend half the day reading threads and soaking up information!
