creative zen playlist problems???

    i have a zen 16gb MX - i bought one about a week ago and had problems creating a playlist - it wont save them! only one or two songs out of 100 say. i was very annoyed altogether!! but then it got stolen (my typical luck)- and i bought a new one yesterday- the exact same one, an MX, and its doing the same thing!!! does anyone know about this or have similar problems?

    How are you creating playlists?

    I'm not familiar with the ZEN but creative haven't changed how their players operate in years so might still be able to help.

    hopefully you can :)
    im going to the 'now playing' list and building up a big list and then going to 'save as playlist' - i had a creative mosaic a few months ago (rubbish it was) and it was the same way on that one too - and never had problems saving the playlist! but it saves the playlist-named and all- but when i go to open it only one or two songs are saved in it! ive looked all over the internet for solutions - but nowhere says anything about it (without signing up and paying for something) so im hopeless!!! :(

    Hmmmmmm I believe there was some playlist related issue with the MX that was addressed in a recent firmware update...found it: http://support.creative.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?catID=213&CatName=MP3+Players&subCatID=231&subCatName=MIDI+Keyboards&prodID=18615&prodName=ZEN+MX#

    Maybe that'll help?

    If not I'm going to have to direct you to a creative fansite because I haven't read of your problem before and it just seems so weird
