    Hey Folks,

The missus is heading to Paris for a few days in December. Can anyone recommend a good budget hotel. Preferably something that's easy to get to from the airport (she's flying with Aer Lingus so I presume it's Charles de Gaulle) and in/around the city centre.

    How much is 'budget'?

Maximum is about €250, she's gonna be there for 3 nights.

I'd suggest flick through the Ibis hotel site. They have an absolute mountain of hotels around Paris and theres a good chance you'll be able to pick one up for 3 nights for under €250.

Hotels in Paris are very expensive as a rule and the closer to the city centre (read Champs D'Elysees) the more expensive/lesser quality they'll be.

Ibis hotels are pretty basic but they do the job.

Many thanks cson. Ibis was a great idea. We booked a hotel in the area that she wanted and under budget.

Thanks mactayto, however we booked Ibis already. I'll bookmark your link though so we have another option for the future.

I know you have already booked a hotel, and usually I go with Ibis myself. Great value..

But last summer i booked at Hotel Riviera http://www.hotelriviera-paris.com/
Great Value, €85 for the night and it is just down the road from the Arc de Triomph!

Just for anybody else looking for a nice cheap hotel, or for future refence...

I think he may have found one by now... No need to drag up old threads like this!
