Again mods, feel free to close/delete if it goes off-topic

Appartly, Kurt threw his back out at the start of his match with Desmond Wolfe. The match turned out to be awesome and a match of the year candidate. Kurt is a wrestling machine but I believe he really needs to think about his body now. He's had neck surgeries and I don't think he could cope if he has another injury

Anyone have any views on this??

well alot of wrestlers do wrestle past their injuries such as undertaker hbk and triple h. but i know what you mean kert seems to be cursed. id say he should at least cut it back or just have a non wrestling role. he is still a great character though

Sadly with Kurt I get the feeling it's more "when" rather than "if" something will go terribly wrong. I really hope not though.

He really really should just stop. Problem with Kurt is he has no concept of slowing down or working a style that would take less of a toll on his body. Some would call it admirable, I just call it plain stupid.

I won't be surprised at all the the day I log in to find hes dropped dead to be perfectly honest.:(

Yes. He should retire. He has no feeling in one arm, and it's even atrophied over the past year. He's had numerous injuries that any other athlete would be forced to retire from, and instead he's accumulated more. He's had issues with medication, and really, is barely fit to decide himself when it comes to his health.

I love the guy, I think he's awesome, but given the choice between remembering his great work, and having to endure another tragedy, he should retire asap.

He should have retired 6 years ago.

i was watching these today before i even saw this thread...

i don't want to turn this into a tribute thread, but this is how i want to remember him. the longer he goes on, the less likely that is.

he should retire, because he's just being stupid at this stage. not passionate, stupid.

to be honest he should have retired after been chokeslammed off a ledge by bigshow. i mean like he was slammed 20 feet or so and the back off his head was covered in blood

and if this was a fairytale it would be a happy ending but he could get seriously hurt or even killed if he wrestles when he is too bad

im not condoning him by any means, if hes stupid enough to continue this way of working through injuries he's gonna end up like the dynamite kid or worse..

I hope he has one last run in the 'E before he does. Not sure about his relationship with Vince though.

Much as I love watching him (it's true, it's true - his TNA character of the strong heel is great, despite the haters) he really should think about toning it down. Even switching to a four-match a year schedule (which Mick Foley was supposed to be on) would be better than carrying the company on his shoulders.

Kurt landed on a mat and squirted tomato ketchup on his head. I don't think he was actally chokeslammed 20ft onto concrete.

the guy was obviously joking, jesus how could anyone think he was serious?

Kurt is gonna keep wrestling as long as hes getting good money for it or till hes crippled.....hes having great hard hitting matches and your obviously gonna get injured but if he dropped the pace and had a different type of match to which hes capable off, people would be bitching that then.....look at flair everyone was saying that he was disgracing his legacy during his stint in WWE when his matches stopped being great....

Kurt wouldnt retire as hes making good money for a small work schedule and he wont change his ring still because fans would more then likely sh!t all over it!
