Now that's what I call telly!

Noticed a few new channels on my Sky box this evening, don't know whether they're brand new or just rebranded, but there's a buncha CBS channels now up near the BBCs. And I notice that "CBS drama" (Sky 149) is showing the classic Moonlighting from s1, e1 tonight at 9. Forget about your CSIs and your Desperate Altogether Housewives, this is pure telly goodness. Long may it last!

Its just the Zone channels revamped with a very limited part of the CBS back catalogue, nothing to get excited about as far as I can see.

CBS Action are showing the remastered version of Star Trek: TOS right now (the ones released on DVD, not the ones on the SciFi channel last year), but the ratio is all off on my freesat box, but perfect on Sky, weird...

Weird, ST was in 16:9 but the ads were 4:3!

Moonlighting is the only 80s show that is actually better to watch now than then. The comedy and drama of the first time round is now complemented by the horror of Cybil Shepherd's wardrobe seen through sober, post-apocalyptic eyes.
