Tevion Portable DVD (HELP NEEDED)

    ******HELP NEEDED*******

    Hi all, I hope somebody can help me with the following issue;

    I have a portable Tevion dvd player (FASCIN 8) that is not playing dvd's!

    When I turn it on it starts to load the dvd then it makes a sound like something spinng around inside for about 3 mins, thaen it just winds down and stops...:mad:

    Would anybody have any advice (apart from telling me tevion is a shi* make) :rolleyes:

    Try it with the unit upside down, on it's side, etc. There could be dirt on the lens, but more likely the laser head is getting stuck on dust/dirt in the grease that lubricates it. Carefullu cleaning the old grease out and re-lubing with teflon or silicone grease has always fixed such problems for me.
