I never use stopping power.. no point if you have a good enough weapon.

I use hardline, your killstreaks come faster as does your deathstreaks.

its down to how you play and how you want that extra something on your gun :)

like a sniper, use ninja/coldblooded/ etc... and a silencer on it meaning you never show up on any radars. esp pro ninja as you don't make a sound when you run.

Yeah, I had hardline pro, then decided to switch to stopping power. But thinking of changing back to Hardline. Can't get my killstreaks fast enough

ye as if you have a good enough weapon, stopping power is not essential. :)

if you are using a gun like the M4 or M16 they should drop anyways :)

stopping power pro is not for enemys themselves, they are for the vehicles but they are hard to shoot down unless you have a stinger or something...

M4 is mt friend - my favorite so far (over 750 kills with it). My main choice is having heart beat monitor with conjunction red dot... Not sure what my other perks are??

I'd like to think that I have a few of perks up to Pro level.

I initially used hardline, and it is useful for a perpetual UAV setup for sure, but I've gotten a bit better now and don't find it as useful.

The best way I could describe perks would be to think of the advantages you want to give yourself.

If you want to remain hidden, cold-blooded and ninja are the way to go, no question. However, if you're on the run a good bit, then cold-blooded is less useful, lightweight might be a better option. If you use the spray and pray weapons (P90, uzi, etc.) then steady aim and stopping power should be your combo of choice-lots of hipfire shots!

    I use:
Bling Pro (Heartbeat Sensor and Silencer on the Scar-H, Grip and Red-Dot on the Spas)
Stopping Power Pro (along with the grip turns the SPAS into an absolute beast in terms of killing power and range.)
Ninja Pro (silent movement is always useful)

Also have the following at pro and use infrequently, depending on game I guess... Marathon, Hardline, Commando... those were my first 3 perks :)

Cold-blooded pro means that your name doesn't pop up over your head when the enemy targets you, and their crosshairs don't turn red when they're aiming at you.

Sit Rep Pro just means that the enemies footsteps are louder than normal.

Commando pro is where its at, although this is under Perk 3 so you won't need to replace SP or CB. You don't take any damage from falling, so you can just launch yourself off a cliff and land with a knife on someones neck.

Yeah you can also leap forward about 15feet on the flat to knife them, haha.

My new experiment is marathon, lightweight and scrambler with a p90. Its great can peg it around the map so fast people don't see me coming - gotta be quick with the reflexes thou - haha. Hmmm perhaps I should swap the scrambler for commando pro but I quite like not showing up on radar :D

Scrambler is aload of bollocks tbh. Whenever my mini-map goes fuzzy I know that there's someone close by. With a little bit of manoeuvering you can then figure out which direction they're coming from and just slaughter them.

Edit: Forgot to add this. Not worthy of a thread on its own cos of the bit of luck, but it's something else....

Couldn't agree more man, I'm the very same myself. It's like a giant beacon letting you know that someone is coming towards you. Move slightly and see how the fuzz reacts, then you know where they're coming from!

Ninja Pro on the other hand. Happy days! It will be very tough to sacrifice that for Last Stand... Will have to see which is more useful.

Well its probably less of a beacon than showing up on the map in all fairness now:rolleyes: anyhow plenty of folks don't notice me sneaking up on them. have to say thou i've not noticeed anyone else using it - i've not seen my radar fuzz in and out at all

Only really started seeing it last night. A few people here and there, but most people seem to be going for Cold-blooded

    What does Hardline pro do?

Can anyone post a list of all the perks available?

I do think it's that bad. The map fuzzes over, and considering how often people check their map in CoD, that's a warning sign. Granted, not as much as actually showing up though ;)

I'm mediocre at best, and won't hide that fact, but 4 time out of 5, I'll end up killing the person using it! People just don't know how to use it properly, obviously you do.

For example, if you used Lightweight and Marathon you could move very quickly, and pounce before people can adjust to you.

Actually, I just had a though. I use the heartbeat sensor religiously... If the map fuzzes, that quickly tells me to look at it, and since you can't use Ninja, it means your definitely showing up on the sensor... Something to think about.

Pro means you require one less death for deathstreaks, something one would ideally avoid anyway ;)

Hardline makes your killstreaks come 1 kill earlier. Pro means that your deathstreak comes one death earlier too. Good if you use martydom or last stand and you're getting killed constantly

Yeah, have to admit I was disappointed with that. Obviously I was hoping for killstreaks coming 2 kills earlier, although that'd probably make most games impossible with choppers and AC-130's flying round constantly

Unlocked Ninja Pro last night, and it's defo one of my favourite perks. I mostly stick to hardcore modes, so a lot of people rely on the sound of footsteps to get the drop on people (or at least I do :D ).

However, with the ultimate boots of stealthiness equipped it's perfect appearing around a corner from someone and seeing their ingame character react to their real life "Agh!" fright and the mouse jerking miles up into the sky :D

ninja pro is a godsend in the 1 on 1 cage matches, combined with lightfoot and marathon it does turn you into a high speed ninja. Especially if you have all 3 of them pro.

Cold Blooded normal is a must in big games with alot of call ins. purely because none of them will target you except out of sheer dumb luck. I usually take bling with it to give my rifle FMJ rounds and a holographic sight to make up for the lack of deep penetration.

I used scrambler briefly and it only works if your concealed somewhere less obvious, i have gotten way too many kills against enemies using scrambler, heartbeat sensors a great thing!

so that's where silent running is gone
it was driving me nuts when I couldn't find it for my spec ops class.

I love using Marathon and Lightweight on my Spec Ops class. You can run so fast that claymore don't have time to explode and kill you before you sprint past it.
