Very nice course you will enjoy it. It's supposed to be designed like an inland links! It's a bit short but you still have to keep it in play and think your way around, definately worth playing.

ya as described above, not at all long so no need for smashing a driver on every hole, worth €35..........if only as a fee to see the funky looking clubhouse

It's very level, so no exertion required. And you'd do well to avoid the rough. If you're interested in scoring - you'll get your points on the front nine, but beware the very short par four 9th - there's a stream right in front of the green.

As said already, well worth the €35.

And if you want to do me a big favour, snap a photo of the clubhouse. It was being built when I was there and I'd like to see what it looks like now.

played it in the boards matchplay, was really nice. The greens were perfect, if you hit a good putt it went in(hence i didnt hole many putts)

And its always bone dry due to all the sand, so you defo wont be playing in the muck like a lot of places at the moment!!!

Its a gas looking thing. Made me think of a big tv when i saw it.Was nearly dark when i played it earlier in the year and had pink and green disco lights on inside. Looked a sight walking towards it on the last. Nice course as well, well worth 35.

I heard last week that Castlemartyr, at €35, is having an affect on green fee numbers in Water Rock which is €38.

Yea all on the same day. 30th july. Junior inter and minor. Was thinking its prob open singles alright. Youd imagine the cost of entry is less than 35 euros as well for scratch cups and open days.

have a feeling someone said before that the open day is still €35 no reduction

Cork gc have an open comp as well for 35 bucks. Bad call by whoever picked the date in castlemartyr.

    Cheers for the info

played it 2 weeks ago. It is singles stableford and €35 entry.

Cork have open days but I think it's only once a month. It is on today by the way.
