    God it looks very good,

I suppose it sucks a little if your a rugby fan and you already know what happened in the '95 WC but its prob a case of the actual games taking a back seat and being about the people etc.

Looks pretty good alright. Of course, im a big fan of Clint Eastwood as a director.

Morgan Freeman is definitely the right man to play Nelson Mandela. Dunno about Matt Damon as Francoise Pienaar though. Definite must see!

Saw his tonight and was quite impressed. Thought both Damon and Freeman were excellent in their respective roles.

    From another thread:
It's a stinker, total stinker. Characters come and go without any real explanation. The interracial tension is non-existant (I'm just cringing even thinking about how he tried to show this by having the two sets of bodyguards...). He goes for a totally simplistic approach to apartheid in SA. The score is laughable. Freeman is decent but still comes across as Freeman at times. Damon looked embarrassed by a number of scenes (especially one where he has to be very very very angry in the dressing room). It's just a total mess.

    Stinker. Avoid.

Then research a bit more than one negative comment

No need for the aggressive, smarmy attitude. I've read the book and understand its important that those compoments work. I've read the reviews from the Yanks and was waiting for the ones from over here, from people who understand the game and the situation better.
