Haha, I think I'll just wait for the episode so. I think I've had enough with spoilers for this show. Every week, I know what's gonna happen. I miss the mystery of season one that was down to, in part, not looking at stupid spoiler websites! I'm also gonna have to wait for tomorrow for the episode cos I shan't be staying up late. Talk to ya in about 24 hours Richard!

I did the exact same to Lost last session, so im boycoting all lost forums for the final session. I want to be spoiler free, like i was for session 1

I wasn't mad on it. Defo a pace pick-up, I just thought it coulda been more tense/dramatic or whatever. But It was decent yeah. I'm glad Peter can fly again, I was getting tired of him healing jerks.

So we finally got the plot, only took 10 episodes!
Overall pretty good ep. - all the stories were interesting, not sure what Samuel wants with Ice queen, Joseph....the actor who played him was excellent, he should have been on from the start....he could have easily played Knepper's role.

Monhinder and the arc, not bad...not revolutionary but we don't know yet what his true amplified power entails. Guessing global earthquake. So he's gathering troops to amplify his own power.

But here is my theory...earthquakes rely on frequencies right?....my guess is deaf girls power can cancel out the harmonics of Samuel. Can we say now that when Nathan dies so does Sylar?....Nathlar RIP - a two for one deal.

guess they are picking up the place due to the mid season break, maybe the second half will be alot faster now?

Oh yeah, it's strange. The thought randomly occurred to me literally yesterday that Tracey is probably one of the few people who could kill Claire easily and permanently.

It would appear not. How the hell can "healing" thaw her out in time to stop her dying? Redick...

Sylar told Claire she was unique, one of her kind and that she isnt like the rest of them. He told her he couldnt kill her even if he wanted to.

I tend to disregard things that happened in Season 3, particularly Villains.

If not, then I'd be asking after every episode why Parkman can't draw the future or Ando can't supercharge people anymore.

I thought it was a good episode. I enjoyed it and Samuel is proving a really interesting character.

Two things that bug me though.

1) Doesn't Nathan have a family? Young kids I believe? How come he never keeps in contact with them?

2) If Peter can heal could he not heal himself so he could be able to regain all the powers he lost when his Dad took them from him?

Didn't his wife leave him waaaay back (somewhere in season 2)? She probably got the kids too and he only seems them rarely as it probably has been deemed no longer relevant...

Healers can't heal themselves - that's the difference with the ones that have self-healing powers, like Claire (who can't heal people, at least not directly - though her magic blood works - sometimes :rolleyes:). I think they mentioned something like that with Linderman back in season 1.

I do like that the pace is moving forward finally but Samuel just being another version of Sylar (gathers "specials" around him to amplify his own power) is kinda meh. Plus, if he is so dangerous, why not send the Haitian, bag and tag him and lock him up somewhere in the middle of nowhere?

And Mohinder is alive again... aargh! :mad:

Agreed. I like to take things from S3 as not being canon, as much as possible. It's kinda bugged me that 'Naylar' never figured out something was amiss with Angela lying to him about who he is. Doesn't he have a lie detection power? Hmm... Ando seems to be all but gone anyway, which is nice...

Well they know very little about Samuel so far and as well as that, the carnival can be anywhere Samuel wants it to be (I'm taking it that this is something that Samuel can do because his powers are growing?) so he'd be hard to find.

Hopefully Mohinder won't do too much this season.

Anyone wondering what happened to Joseph? He was alive 8 weeks ago and didn't look at all unhealthy.... Did Samuel kill his own brother? Hmm....

At the start of season 2 they had left him as he had gone crazy from seeing the other him that got burned from the radiation Peter gave off.

There appears to be a recurring theme of "specials" that have the ability to gain more power. Sylar (killing them to take understand how their power works) and Peter (just being near them) from season 1. Father Petrelli in season 2 (taking peoples abilities) and now Samuel getting more powerful by just having "specials" near him. I wonder how many more ways they'll think of the have villans gain more powers?

It was a good episode though. Peter and Nathan together. Not sure what happened to Sylar after he jumped into Naylar. Maybe next week we'll see Sylar and Nathan's consiousness's battle it out for control. Parkman is back in control but he's not going to be able to clean up the mess that Sylar has caused for him. He'll be in the run from now on.

Claire shouldn't have been able to thaw out so fast. Tracy's power acting up is a poor device to get her to join the Sullivan Bros circus. Hiro and Mohinder's stories were interesting enough especially where Hiro left Mohinder for the 8 weeks.

Samuel is definitely a lot more interesting after this episode. His brother was keeping him from getting too powerful. We haven't seen how Danko got the compass yet. Did Samuel's brother call Danko for help?

Episode was somewhat decent.

Claire and Nicky was deplorable, I browsed the net while they were on. Interesting stuff with Syler/Nathan and Peter. nice that Peter took all the abilities too. The season is not really going anywhere though is it?

I think he just took flight. Which is weird because Sylar was never seen to have that power. In "An Invisible Thread", he 'flies' but it's kinda implied that he's actually just using his telekinesis to hover. Now it appears he has the power of flight but we never saw him take it from Nathan (nor anyone else for that matter). I suppose one could conjecture that he got it "empathically" from Nathan when he killed him..... Either way, he has to have that ability because Peter took it. I know they're not gonna let Peter have telekinesis so it has to be flight. It's the one plot-hole that's been really píssing me off.

Sylar definitely took flight empathetically in Invisible Thread - before he killed Nathan. If you listen when he comes in the window just before killing him, the sound effect for flight and not telekinesis is played.
