We left our son's teeth until he was 10, firstly got the bottom 2 removed, 4 days ago another 2.. I't looks much better now, however I'm not 100% sure whether they are going to bac to normal... I'm going to see the dentist again in case if he needs braces.

I assume he is long long past his baby teeth. So I guess thats a just leave it...for a few years.

ah yeah, he was having 2 pair of the top and the bottom teeth, recently the top ones started coming out of his mouth (thats why he got a nickname 'vampire' at school which he loved, now the teeth are gone :( ) but at the moment he looks quite normal. We're gonna wait another 6-10 months to see if teeth get straight, if not he will get braces. I'd leave it for some time...

In cases like the one in the photo in the link, where the adult teeth are erupting behind the baby teeth, it is usually a good idea to have the baby teeth removed in order to allow the adult teeth to improve their position.

This kind of situation is usually an indication that crowding is present, and as such the removal of the baby teeth will not completely solve the problem; however, it will minimise the degree of displacement of the adult teeth and therefore simplify things later on.

It is always worth waiting for a couple of weeks before arranging to have the teeth taken out, and the child should be encouraged to wiggle the baby teeth as much as they can to try to get them to fall out naturally, but if they're still there after 3 weeks or so I'd make an appointment with your dentist to see about getting them taken out.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks. I'd like to nip any problems in the bud to avoid problems later on.
