The one with O'Gara running back field just after nailing the drop goal for the Grand Slam is my favourite. The guy looked like he was on cloud nine. Awesome

That's Willie Anderson in the headband, showing all due respect to the All Blacks prior to the 1989 test at Lansdowne Road.

The AB's started doing the Haka as normal just before kickoff and Anderson the loose cannon linked arms with the Irish players and walked/dragged them up to within inches of the AB's. I think the AB #7 is Mike Brewer, most recently seen in this part of the world coaching Belvo, Barnhall, & Leinster (back room).

    YT link

Great bit of footage. Makes you wonder why the AB's went ape on BOD in 2005 and took no revenge on Anderson.

Apparently after the game their management started whinging that if we ever did that again while they were doing the haka then they'd never play us again. It deffo got the crowd going and the game off to a good start. Pity we weren't as fit as them in the final 20.

For the record what Anderson was saying to them was nothing more than "we're not afraid of you". So much about the haka being a challenge. I think they've gotten a lot more precious about the haka in the last 20 years or so.

I saw a programme a few years ago and the All Black captain, (Buck Shelford?) said that he thought it was great.
