Do you have to have watched Da Vinci Code to understand Angels And Demons. I understand A&D is a follow up but did not watch DVC as I saw lots of negative reviews

    Is A&D good?

No, you don't need to have watched DVC.

Angels and Demons is excellent as a book, better than Da Vinci Code (only my opinion though!).

However, I felt that the film rendition of A&Ds did not do the book justice at all. In my opinion, it was a very weak film, of what was a very entertaining book.

I know this is the films forum, but I would recommend reading Angels and Demons if you haven't done so already.
