    Hi all,

We are currently in the process of getting a good coversband together and are in the early stages trying to get a good setlist together also.
We are 5 fairly competent musicians 2guitarists,bassist,drums,keys and vocals also.

We are having some trouble trying to finalise a good pub setlist but we are finding it difficult to agree on what should be on it and what should not be there.

I have seen lots of coverbands over the years and have afair idea of what they play and what the joe public want to hear in these pub settings.

Can you people perhaps email me with sample setlists if ye wouldnt mind so we can get some idea of what to have on our own list.
I would love to hear from everyone of course who would take the trouble to email me but especially those who are playing in coverbands for years and have alot of experience.

    colinmullin@hotmail.com

Thanks in advance for any help.

    cheers,
    Colin;)

Mind me asking, but does srvhead stand for Slicepan Reeks Vengence Head?

Anyway, make sure to throw in Tina Turner, Mariah Carey, and lately, both Amy Winehouse and Duffy.

Ye'll be fine. Crowd love em.

In fairness you have a keys player, which is VERY handy to have for cover bands as it gives a lot more to play.

A small bit of chart stuff if possible
Some of the hits from the few years, think Foos, QOTSA, RHCP, etc
80's. People love 80s music. Fact.

cheers my friend, yeah i always thought the classic rock stuff from the 80,s always goes down well and a few of the cheesy classics from that era.
I know alot of the radio pop songs too go down well if played properly and sound some what half decent.
