good question... ive seen loads of irish people online playing... all with random clan tags... just for show.. not actual clans... Myself and Calgar99 (a regular here on the forums ) are going to set one up... we plan on allowing anyone join.. but we will have a competive team too hopefully...

I think it's changing(ed) into something different.

Whereas before people got satisfaction of beating somebody else in a game, nowadays it seems everyone is competing in earning "XP" and scores and other crap against each other. It's become a more individualistic competition and competition of ranks.

I think your right... and to be honest who cares about rank, the idea we have is to have a bunch of people who are from ireland, who will be on the same times as us, who we can have a laugh with but also have some seriously good team games.. at the end of the day mw2 is a team game not a free for all

But ya if your up for playing with us give us a shout... I should have our forums and site up and running this week, im away with work at the moment but calger should be online all week.

Also if you have any suggestions etc post them too, be nice to get some feedback...

btw should note that the average at the moment on that list on the site is 22... we're all like 20+ there is going to be one rule.. and thats no kids.. their will be exceptions depending on the person but in general no kids lol

It's not dieing out at all in other games, in the CoD community though people were getting ready to play MW2 until IW decided to essentially make the game for casual players only. I guess we'll just have to wait to see if they allow mods & dedicated servers - if not I can see CoD2 / 4 getting a new breath of life.

Me and a few mates are playing heavily with ideas to attend some irish events, more so for the fun and see what the scene is like more then competing at the top.

Is it even possible to set up clan matches on xbox live, it doesnt look obvious and its stress enough just getting the "party" together to get going, power annoying.

We would be up for playng a few matches

Hi, I woIuld be interested in joining the clan too. My gamertag is painbydane. I think tournaments would be great for improving your game. I'm not that good though usually die as much as i kill.
