    Hello,
I've got a dual boot on a Dell Inspiron 1300 laptop, its over three years old now!
I have Ubuntu 9.10 on it at present, but I've never been able to get RTE live player to work on it in Ubuntu (this is my third Ubuntu), aint the best at the command line level of use I'm afraid...
Would anyone have had similar trouble with RTE live player or have any ideas or tips!?
all ideas welcome, thanks in advance guys...

AFAIK, all the players are based on flash as is youtube. Make sure you have flash installed. Google 'ubunti flash install' I use Fedora Core 11 which isn't that different to Ubuntu and I have no problems with the RTE player or any web player.
You should be able to just copy and paste the command line posted on help forums directly into terminal to run anything that needs to be run. Hope this helps!
